After dominating this board in the playoffs last year and going 10-3 Im back to give you guys a winning week one. Here it goes:
1) Tennessee -3 vs Miami
Tennessee has an all around well balanced ball club with a very good coach. Secondary is somewhat shaky but fortunately Miamis throwing game is pretty weak.
2)Pitt -4 vs Oakland
Tommy can play better than he did last year. Still love the receiving corp and Duece should better the running game from last year. Oaklands top offensive threats are Jerry Porter and Tyrone Wheatley.
3)Baltimore -3 vs Cleveland.
Kyles back and the offense is pretty decent. I think Kevin Johnson will step up this year and the defense is just great. I do think Jeff Garcia could take this team to the next level. But not this week - even Garcias complained about not being able to get familiar with his offense in the preseason.
4)Dallas +4.5 vs Minnesota
Is this the best receiving corp in the NFL? I think it might be. Especially when you add Whiten. Dallas should be able to cover and I believe has the better defense and the better coach.
5) Dallas vs Minnesota over 44
Both of these teams are capable of lighting it up. The vikings have lost their D cord and I dont look for it to be that great in week one. I think Vinny can exploit them with the receivers he has.
6)Atlanta -3.5 vs SF
Look at SF's roster.
7)KC +3 vs Denver
Look at Denvers roster.
